Pets easily pick up negative energy from their people/owners. For example if the person is stressed or angry the pet can sense it and absorb it (since pets naturally absorb energies, especially cats). Pets will often avoid negative people if they can. They can also pick up negative energy from places and objects, just like people.
Common symptoms of negative energy in pets and animals:
- Repetitive behavior. A dog can twitch its whiskers, tilt the head, or bark. A cat can lick the same paw over and over again or bite off fur (overgrooming).
- Problem behavior. Biting and/or scratching furniture, carrying out needs on the floor, eating forbidden objects etc.
- Apathy.

- Avoidance. The pet might avoid certain areas or a particular room of the house, and outdoor cats can even refuse to come home at all.
